How to include your pet in your wedding

Wondering how to include your pet in your wedding? There are definitely lots of different options, but some of them aren’t going to be possible for everyone. A lot of this depends on venue regulations, your pet’s temperament, the location of your venue, and more. The great thing is that even if you can’t physically have your pet with you at the wedding, there are other ways to incorporate them!

Inclusion 1: Put them in the ceremony!

You could have them walk down the aisle! This can be with you or an important family member/friend. Such a fun way to include them!

Tip: Make sure to clear this with your venue. Many venues don’t allow pets, so it’s important to get permission, first!

Inclusion 2: Put them on a piece of decor!

This can be fans for the ceremony, cocktail napkins, signage, or more! One of our favorite things we’ve seen is a bar sign with each drink being named after pets.

Inclusion 3: Include them in your photos!

Do sunset photos with your pups! It always adds a sweet touch and can be part of your family photo list.
