Shepherdsfield: A gorgeous, inclusive venue in Central Oregon

I had the pleasure of touring John and Stephanie’s venue recently. Shepherdsfield is a gorgeous and inclusive venue in Sisters, Oregon. My absolute favorite thing about this venue was the big arch on the ceremony lawn (in the above photo). John actually built it himself along with the 6,000 square foot house that is on the property.

So, what does it include?

You have access to the house on the property for the day before the event and the entire day of the event (the house is gorgeous and amazing – it’s a 6,000 foot space with 3 floors, includes the kitchen, several different dressing rooms, storage areas, a big deck on the outside of the house, and more!)

The ceremony lawn – this comes with up to 250 chairs on the ceremony lawn, and you can add John on as your pastor for about $200 (what a steal!)

The large deck – a gorgeous scenery awaits you here and it is an amazing space for photos!

Three tents in the reception space – you can use them for anything you’d like, such as food, bar, head table, etc.

Gazebo dance floor – imagine hanging plants and a lit-up floor with a DJ playing music and your entire guest list dancing to Get Low by Lil Jon – such a vibe.

So many options for food – hire a full service, buffet, family style, food truck – anything you want – caterer or do the food yourself! John told me a story about one couple’s family roasting a pig – there really are so many options!
